DNA test kit

Get your bees DNA tested!  Dr. Brock Harpur at Purdue University has received funding support to offset the very expensive DNA testing for bees.  As part of the PA Queen Bee Improvement Project and a member state of the Heartland Honey Bee Breeders Coop we want all current and potential breeder queens to be in the database.

You will receive a test tube containing pure lab grade ethanol, (you can not use rubbing alcohol.) You put the bees in the tube and send them off the to address of the lab.  You will receive a report with the genetic background of the bees.
